ABOUT US
The Pathways Alliance, led by InnovateEDU and the Learning Policy Institute, is an uncommon coalition of leading education organizations dedicated to supporting and implementing quality, sustainable, and diverse educator preparation pipelines including teacher residency programs and apprenticeships. Now more than ever, effective and affordable education preparation programs and pathways are essential for teachers, schools, and students. We're working together to make this possible.

The initial goals of the alliance are to 1) develop a common definition of a teacher residency, 2) launch a resource library with resources for planning, implementing and improving quality, sustainable educator preparation programs in the current climate, and 3) develop a reputation as the go-to alliance for SEA/LEA decision-makers and policymakers looking for guidance.

The Michigan Educator Workforce Initiative (MEWI)
The Michigan Educator Workforce Initiative (MEWI) works closely with K-12 public education systems leaders to design and implement innovative solutions to improve Michigan's educator workforce.
